Jocelyn Brown-Saracino is the Executive Director of the U.S. Department of Energy Alumni Network. Jocelyn joins the Network following 15 years of service at the Department of Energy. In her most recent role with the Department, Jocelyn served as the Department’s Offshore Wind Lead. In this position she had the opportunity to work with colleagues across the Department and the Federal government on efforts such as the Floating Offshore Wind Shot, offshore wind transmission planning efforts, supply chain development, and policy analysis. Prior to that, Jocelyn served as program manager for DOE’s Wind Energy Environmental, Siting, Workforce Development and Grid portfolio, and managed the Department’s Wind, Ocean Energy, and Hydropower environmental research portfolios.
She came to the U.S. Department of Energy through the NOAA Sea Grant John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship program. She holds a master’s degree in marine science from the University of New England and a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Smith College.
