Paul Donohoo-Vallett is the Policy Lead for the DOE Alumni Network. Paul has 12 years of experience at the Department of Energy, most recently as Deputy Director for Infrastructure Policy in the Office of Policy where he was the lead for policy and analytical support on power sector infrastructure, reliability, technology deployment, and interagency coordination.

Prior to that role Paul served in the Strategic Analysis group of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, where he led development of key national laboratory technical products such as the NREL Annual Technology Baseline and forward-looking energy analyses including the Electrification Futures Study.

Paul came to the Department as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow. He holds a doctorate in physical chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder and a bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of Vermont.
