As Envision DOE Initiative Coordinator, Skye Richmond manages the logistics for a multi-year initiative to build a non-partisan research and policy agenda that strengthens the Department's ability to achieve its mission, coordinating working groups, stakeholder roundtables, and white papers.

Most recently, Skye led 13 statewide plug-in solar policy campaigns, mobilizing grassroots activists, utilities, and state legislatures to expand solar access and affordability nationwide. At the DOE, Skye served as Strategic Engagement Coordinator in the Office of Deputy Secretary David Turk and the Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains. She led strategic planning and logistics for more than 150 engagements and liaised between the White House, local governments, and thousands of partners nationwide to advance historic federal investments in clean energy, domestic manufacturing, infrastructure, and energy supply chains.

Outside of her professional work, Skye volunteers as Partnership Lead for the San Diego chapter of Women in Cleantech and Sustainability, a nonprofit advancing the role of women in the growing green economy.
